The Romans, as well as Arab physicians in 10th century, attributed sage also with the ability to impact immortality, the ancients, sage symbolized wisdom, skill esteem, long life, and increased psychic powers.

Sage is a muted silvery, dark green color with an aromatic, woodsy pine flavor.

Some have used sage as a natural deodorant.

Add some sage and mint to hot water to make a refreshing, soothing tea. NOTE: Add herbs to a tea ball, brewing basket, or strain before drinking.

Sage is used primarily with poultry and stuffing; however it also pairs well with pork, fish, and fruit.

Add sage at the beginning of cooking to allow the flavor to permeate through the dish.
