A flavorful blend that incorporates the sweetness of basil and thyme with the herbal essence of Fennel, the formula began to be standardized in the 1970's.

The blend of herbs creates a spectrum of greens with hints of lavender's grayish purple peeking through the mix sporadically. Herbs de Province has a sweet herby flavor with strong notes of the minty thyme.

The Monkey could find no medicinal folklore associated with Herbs de Province, but he believes that his spices make people happy.

Very popular in the Mediterranean South of France, it is used to season everything from soups to grilled chicken.

Herbs de Province goes well with chicken, soups, stews, and vegetables. However, as always, the monkey encourages you to experiment with different flavor combinations.

Herbs de Province is usually added at the beginning or during cooking. It is rarely added at the end of the cooking process.
